FAQ's

Am I able to make payments towards my enrollment fees?
Yes. To make partial payments, click "Pay at Club" during checkout. You will then be able to log into your Parent Portal to make payments at your convenience. Full payment is required by June 20th.
Are there scholarships available?
Yes. If you are needing financial assistance, please complete the following steps. Login to your parent portal and select "Update Your Profile", select and complete the "Financial Assistance Application" for all members in the household. Please submit all documentation (2024 tax documents, pay stubs, etc.) in order for your scholarship to be processed. Financial assistance applications will be processed after all documentation is received. All outstanding balances must be paid in order for the scholarship to be processed.  If you are applying for a summer scholarship, you must obtain scholarship approval prior to enrollment. Payments will be adjusted based on the scholarship awarded. Therefore, if you make a payment before your scholarship is processed, refunds, or credits will not be issued for any overpayment.
Will meals be provided during summer programs?
Maize summer Club members are required to bring a sack lunch each day, but an afternoon snack will be provided.
Thanks to partnership with USD-259, Opportunity Drive will serve breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack.
If my child is an outgoing 5th grader at school, then what group will they be with during summer at the Club? What about incoming kindergartners?
Your member will be classified as a 5th grader during our summer programs. Furthermore, we cannot serve Kindergartners unless they have attended Kindergaten during the school year.
What programs get run during the Summer?
We run a variety of different programs- some of which include Summer Brain Gain that focuses on STEM, reading, and other targeted activities, Triple Play, our healthy lifestyles program, and even programs like art and social rec. Checkout a sample summer schedule at the top of this page by clicking the link "Sample Summer Program Schedule".
Do you go on field trips?
Yes! We are fortunate to work with community partners and take various field trips throughout the summer! A detailed field trip schedule will be provided during Parent Orientation.
Will there be a summer parent orientation and what if I am unable to attend?
Yes, there will be a required parent orientation for each Club location (see orientation dates/locations above). If you are unable to attend, a makeup session will be scheduled with the Unit Director for your site before your child(ren) is able to attend.
