how do i check the waitlist?

We encourage everyone to check the waitlist prior to purchasing a membership. But you will not be able to join the waitlist unless you have a purchased membership. To check the waitlist, login to your parent portal and select the "Registrations" tab. From there you can locate the program you would like to enroll in to see how many spots are available or if there is a waitlist.

where can i learn more about billing?

Please head to the "Parent Overview" tab on our website to view our Parent Handbook. Within the handbook, there are more details about billing schedules and payment plans.

What programs ARE PROVIDED during the School year?

BGCSCK offers a variety of programs designed to support the whole child — academically, socially, and physically. Examples include:

  • Power Hour: Daily homework help and academic support to ensure members are on track for success in school.
  • Enrichment Programs: Opportunities in STEM, reading, and other targeted activities that spark curiosity and build skills.
  • Triple Play: A health and wellness program that equips youth with the tools to lead active, healthy lifestyles.
Will there be a parent orientation that I am required to attend?

Yes, a parent orientation is required when you enroll in our school year and summer programs. If you are unable to attend the scheduled dates(s), a makeup session must be scheduled with the Unit Director for your site before your child(ren) is able to attend.

Will fees be prorated?

No. In order to have the flexibility of a monthly billing cycle rather than pay in full up front, our system does not allow for a prorated fee. The monthly fee will be charged between the 1st and 5th of each month. Please see "Billing" section in the Parent Handbook for more information.

is there a multi-child discount?

Unfortunately there is not any discounts for multiple children in the familiy. If financial assistance is needed, we recommend applying for the financial aid.

What if I only need care during certain times of the year?

The system requires you to enroll in the entire school year, but you are welcome to withdraw at any point. Please note, if you withdrawal and then decide you would like to re-enroll your child, your spot will not be guaranteed.

HOW DO I WITHDRAWAL FROM THE PROGRAM IF I NO LONGER NEED CARE?
If a parent/guardian would like to withdrawal their Member(s) from the before and/or after-school program, a Withdrawal / Transfer Request must be submitted (see "Withdrawal Policy in the Parent Handbook).
